Our Experience: Five Stars

Have you ever wished you could live where you had the mountains, ocean, city, and countryside all within a short car ride?

Well if you live in Virginia, your wishes are able to come true.

A trip to Shenandoah Valley is the perfect place to go if you’re itching to see beautiful trees, sip some local cider, and get in some exercise.

If you can spare half a day, $20, and a 69+ minute car ride. The trip to Shenandoah National Park is totally worth it.

Shenandoah’s biggest feature is Skyline Drive. You can drive all 7 hrs of it, but even driving 7 miles can get you to an overlook where you can see the entire valley.

If you want to take a hike-check out their website where you can choose hikes according to length and difficulty.

What you’ll love
-ticket into the park lasts all week (go multiple times, or pass it along!)
-the overall scenery; go in the fall to see the best colors!
-picnic and camping areas
-enough space for everyone so you won’t feel claustrophobic!

Share the name of the path you decided to hike below! 🙂
